Use of this adapter delivers maximum speed and performance allowed by your PC when using an mSATA SSD as either a boot drive (to run an operating system) or cache drive (in tandem with a hard drive).

This adapter is designed for mSATA SSDs only. It is NOT compatible with 50mm Mini PCI-e SATA SSDs.
