iPodes - You're quite welcome! Thank you for the suggestion as well, we'll be sure to look into that. ------------------ Scar - That's tough for us to diagnose as we don't have much familiarity with the Crucial V4 but hopefully somebody reading this, whose had a similar issue, can offer a solution. |

Just came here to say thanks for having better support here than by a company with at least ten times your size. Such a shame for Verbatim. I have a Verbatim 64 GB SSD Sata II (Product Number: 47473) and I had never upgraded the firmware since I bought the SSD. Must say that after upgrading to S5FAM030 the behavior it's completely different. No hanging times, faster boot and faster response. The tutorial it's also quite complete. (I would just suggest to make a guide for how to clone the SSD content and move it back again after firmware upgrade) Once again thanks for your work, Regards. |

Gus, We're happy to hear your laptop is running smoothly but we are not provided change logs for our updates. The last few updates have mostly addressed speed issues that have arisen during use but the next release, FW V4.6, will focus on compatibility issues, even faster speeds, overprovisioning, and increased lifespan. Stay tuned to our Twitter @MyDigital for more details this week. |

Flashed successfully my V4 256Gb. Works good on my Laptop. Is it possible to read changelog of this firmware over previous versions. Thanks in advance! |

ticoloco - Those are unusual results and could even have something to do with the type of data/information populating the SSD. Please contact info@mydigitaldiscount.com with more details, including what exactly the drive is being used for, and we'll do our best to help you find a solution to this issue. ------------------------------------ Papa Hobbit - We've had success with Verbatim drives in the past but, unfortunately, we do not have the knowledge base of their products to tell you if something has changed where this firmware upgrade no longer works with their products. Because we do not deal directly with Verbatim, you'll need to contact them directly for further assistance. |

The firmware S5FAM030 can not install on the Verbatim 128 GB Black. After entering the "ISP" software crash after some time. I have tried in bios IDE, RAID and AHCI. My board is an Intel DP35DP. greeting Papa Hobbit |

Think I might have a lemon MyDigitalSSD BP 128GB microSATA. Lenovo T410s sometimes becomes barely useable with these results despite 030 FW: seq: 32 ; 7 512K: 22 ; 4 4K: 0.7 ; 1.2 QD32: 64 ; 11 At other times, I get more "normal" results: seq: 224 ; 93 512K: 152 ; 57 4K: 8 ; 13 QD32: 64 ; 18 Using CrystalDiskMark. Drive has 110GB of 119GB in use. Am using Windows 8 x64. Any ideas? Any other test I could run to diagnose what might be wrong? Taskmanager doesn't show any fishy programs hogging the drive, instead showing it's often reading at 100% at 1 MB/s. Thanks! |
