All MyDigitalSSD drives come with the latest firmware pre-installed. If you would like to verify that, a simple Google search will help you find a number of tutorials to check the firmware on your device.

Mods, please update the firmware instructions to include what LoneWolf15 has discovered. Wasted nearly 4 hours trying to figure out how to update the firmware. Thanks!

MDD Note: This has been added to our latest update.

LoneWolf15 ,

Great stuff - Thank you for sharing that tip.

I have successfully done the firmware update on a ThinkPad T420. The key is in the syntax. You must specify not only the memory address, but -slave as a switch, or the drive will not be detected by the flashing utility.

I tried to do the update on a T420, but it is unable to find a valid SATA drive. The bios is set to compatibility mode and it does show the drive when scanning, but for some reason is not recognized as a valid drive (64 GB version). Any ideas?
