*MyDigital SSD is no longer being recognized on my X220.* Background: When I first installed the MyDigital 128GB mSata SSD, it installed and worked like a charm (Yesterday - 3/18/2011). I installed Windows 7 on it and it was working great. However, the computer then went into hibernate and when it woke up, it reverted to my HDD and after that point I haven't been able to boot back into the SSD. Other symptoms: * At first, the computer showed the drive properly as an SSD drive, however, now BIOS and everything else simply show it as PS3016S5. * Windows disk management utility show only 2MB on the disk. What I've tried so far: * Opened the laptop back up to make sure the drive is still connected properly. * Tried installing Firmware update S5FAM012, but running the command with /SCANPORT simply said it could not find any valid SATA drive. * Tried installing firmware S5FAM015, but the UI keeps showing me the error message: "Not Running on Flash Normal Code now!! - FBO" Please help! |
