Tomas - You only need to install the latest version. Shooter - Your issue stems from the fact that Compatibility mode is not IDE. You will need to find a computer that specifically says IDE in the bios settings to perform this update. For example, we have a Lenovo x220 that only has AHCI and Compatibility and we could not use it to update the MyDigitalSSD drive inside it. |

Hi, I'm not able to update my myDigitalSSD Bullet Proof 64GB to the latest firmware on my Lenovo T520 laptop. when I run ISP in both AHCI mode and IDE mode (Compatibility) I get this error message: No valid SATA device exist !! I double checked everything and created the bootable USB twice. USB drive is OCZ Rally2 4GB. I disconnected all other SATA devices and it made no difference. I was able to update to April 3rd firmware fine. Please help. Thanks! |

We're quite pleased to see all of the positive responses to the latest firmware update and we're happy we could help MyDigitalSSD users as well as those who have other S5 controller driven SSDs. Rich - We appreciate the feedback and we're glad AHCI mode worked for updating your Netbook. Laurent - At My Digital Discount, we generally only publish updates we've tested in-house that address either usage issues or provide a significant improvement performance. Turns out, 30 did both. We hope you like it! |

I have put 030 onto my Nova2 and it works. Thanks very, very much MyDigital. You're generous folks. Found I had to use AHCI mode, and I found the new 030 instructions were a bit confusing - they seemed to say that it must be IDE mode not AHCI, whereas I remember from when I did 017 the instructions said it absolutely had to be AHCI. pps. That was on an acer aspire 1 with unlocked bios. Thanks again. Rich. |
