Comment below with any questions you may have and we'll do our best to assist you!

1. Why does my Visonic Window/Door Sensor continue showing up as a "thing"? I cannot get it to pair properly.
If your Visonic Window/Door Sensor continues to show up as a "thing" in discovery mode, this usually indicates that the device was put into discovery mode before the device handler was created. Please follow the Connect to SmartThings instructions above in the order they are written up to step 8. At that time, (1) remove the “thing” from your SmartThings app and (2) reset the sensor according to the instructions in our Troubleshooting section below.

2. I completed the Connect to SmartThings instructions and put the device into discovery mode but my sensor is not seen by the SmartThings App.
If this happens, please try to reboot your sensor according to the instructions in our Troubleshooting section below.

3. I can't sign in because my hub isn't showing up on My Locations in the Developer API. What can I do?
If you find your hub is not listed under My Locations, its likely you're not using your current login and password info from your SmartThings App. Please create a new account using your SmartThings App login information.

I bought 11 of them and all paired easily after installing the smartthings device handler. I only wish they were still $10. I need 4 more.

I have the same issue as Paul. I've redone the pairing and tried with another sensor but it's still not working

Do you create individual handlers for each sensors?

Good advice Stirfry, he is 100% correct if you do anything out of order it will result in Paul's problem. Paul to get back to point A delete the "thing" from your Smartthings App, take the battery out of your Window door sensor, and start over then where it says make your window door sensor discover-able put your battery back in. You should be good to go after that.

Hey guys!
These directions helped me immensely! Make sure you log into the api website and add the device handler to your hub exactly as it says. It will work for you!
Btw, when viewing the page with the code, click the "raw" tab. It will open up a page with only the code on it, so it'll be easier to copy only the code.
Then my Smarthings hub recognized the sensors as they were. Connected and showed in my things list immediately.
