Jeff,

Your best bet is using any of the 2.5" SATA SSDs we offer along with a 2.5" to 3.5" HDD/SSD adapter like the one shown in the link below.

scoobydude,

Yes, any of the 2.5 inch SATA II or SATA III (6G) SSDs we offer on this site will work just fine in your laptop.
scoobydude Friday, September 5, 2014 20:13:51
Hi,

Would this be compatible with my ASUS N53Jq laptop? I currently have a Crucial m500 in it. Would love to use your SSD! Thanks!

Stephan,

Please send a photo of your drive to info@mydigitaldiscount.com. Our tech support team will be happy to help identify the proper upgrade.
Stephan Wednesday, January 15, 2014 08:42:20
Thanks for the quick response, but the pin connector is on the long side of the drive in the current configuration and 75mm plus the connector does not appear to be fitting.

Stephan,

To upgrade your VAIO, we suggest the MX-Technology MX-NANO 50 Series SSD found in the link below.

Hi, what SSD options are available for the VGN-T2XP from Sony? It appears to have a 1.8" miniature drive and a sideways 47pin connector. Many Thanks!

Tom,

It appears the only way you can install an mSATA drive in your XPS is with a 2.5" mSATA adapter as a direct replacement for your current hard drive. Your notebook does not have the capability of using an mSATA as an secondary drive.

Can I install an mSATA ssd in my Dell XPS M1530?

bill f,

The ViewSonic ViewPad 10 takes a Half-Slim SSD.

If you're interested in upgrading today, we have samples of 32GB and 64GB SATA III/6G Half-Slim drives from MyDigitalSSD that have yet to be listed, in hand and ready to ship. Simply call toll free 1-866-217-1800 for information and pricing.

gopi,

To upgrade your Lenovo Z580, you'll need a 2.5" SATA solid state drive.

Our current best selling upgrades are the MyDigitalSSD BP4 Slim 7 Series SATA III 2.5" SSDs found in the link below.

JP,

To upgrade the HP Compaq nx6110, you will need a 2.5" PATA/IDE drive. We suggest taking a look at the Super Talent DuraDrive ET2 Series, found in the following link.

http://www.mydigitaldiscount.com/super-talent-pata-ssd/?&sort=alphaaz&sort_direction=0&xsearch_e21=MLC

We also found a helpful how-to link below to walk you through replacing your current HDD.

Alan - It may be possible but we're having trouble finding concrete information one way or another regarding your notebook.

If you would like to purchase an mSATA drive to test out from the link below, we will accept a return for an exchange or full refund if you have any issues.

Zack - We do not stock any of the older-style mPCIe SSDs that feature on board controllers at this time but we'd be open to doing so if there's an increase in demand.

--------------------------------

Merry - From what we can find, it appears your best bet is a 1.8" ZIF. We suggest checking out MX-Technology's MX-NANO ZIF drives found in the link below.

I have an HP mini 1116NR. Which would work with this?
Zack Wednesday, March 6, 2013 21:15:05
Do any of your mPCIe SSD cards have onboard controllers? Whether PATA or SATA?

Thanks!
Zack

David,

From what we could find online, it sounds like you should be able to do that without any issue. You can find our full selection of mSATA drives in the link below.

We'd love to know how that works out! Please keep us posted.

Les Stobee,

You'll need a 70mm Mini PCIe SSD to upgrade your ASUS netbook. They're becoming harder to find as mSATA SSDs grow in popularity but we still offer a few Mini PCIe options from Super Talent in the link below.

sivakumar - That's a very good question. We're having difficulty finding information about your notebook to give you an answer about compatibility.

If you can provide us with a link to an online manual or even a page with detailed specifications for your Sony VAIO, we'll have a better chance at assisting you.
