About the Enclosure
MyDigitalSSD's slim aluminum enclosure and adapter combo is great for
cloning your existing drive to your new one or, simply, making use of your old
drive after upgrading to a new one. Optimum speeds will be had when plugging
this device into a USB 3.0 port but it is also backwards compatible, meaning it
can be used in USB 2.0 ports at USB 2.0 transfer rates.
About the Adapter
The MyDigitalSSD mSATA to 2.5" SATA Adapter allows users to operate one mSATA
(II or III/6G) SSD, made for tablets and notebooks, in any device with a
standard 2.5" SATA (I, II, III/6G) connection.
Whether you're plugging the adapter into the
included USB 3.0 Enclosure or a standard SATA port
(notebook/desktop/workstation), the mSATA drive will deliver maximum speed
allowed by the device it's being used in for optimum performance.
This adapter is designed for mSATA SSDs only. It is NOT compatible with 50mm Mini PCI-e
SATA SSDs.
