LE405-5-3-F-S(22x100) is a laser module that projects a very thin blue laser
line with a wavelength of 405nm. This model is battery-driven (included), making
it especially handy. Electronics and optics have been integrated into a compact
and robust brass housing of 22 x 100mm. This line laser is the perfect choice
for 3D scanning because of its very fine and straight adjustable line. Due to
the special glass optics, this laser module generates a very sharp line and
doesn't require a rotating polygon mirror or motor. The adjustable focus allows
a large range of operation. The large aperture angle of 90° provides a laser
line of 2m length at a distance of 1m. Due to the wavelength of 405nm (blue),
the laser line is thinner than red or green laser lines. In conjunction with
monochrome cameras very fine details <= 80 micrometers can be scanned.
